About the Event
Hello all Starting this month our meeting will be a hybrid of in person and Zoom together.
Here in July we have two speakers: EV pickups that will come out starting this fall, Buzz, the EVangelist; and what it’s like to drive electric in Hawaii, Nanette. Additionally we will have discussions about NEDRA (National Electric Drag Racing Association, nedra.com), NDEW (National Drive Electric Week) in September, and more.
It will be great to see you in person if you can come in person. We will meet at TxRx Labs new building at 6501 Navigation Blvd, Houston, TX 77011 in Youth Classroom 1.
(If after turning in from Navigation Blvd. you end up at the tire business, go back out to Navigation Blvd. again and go to the next turn in and drive all the way to the building at the back right. The building is shared but the entrances are separate.)
If you would like to join via Zoom please register at:
https://us02web.zoom.us/meeting/register/tZEucu-prDorGdVcuL-FjAjEe1NQdGtxVQNY After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.
Either way is good. Our meeting starts at 6:30 pm and runs to 8:30 pm.
I have asked around and folks are good with going forward from this meeting onward making use of the second Thursday of each month as our standard meeting day. With holidays such as July 4th, New Years Day and Labor Day falling early each month, we have often had to move to the second Thursday, so making the second Thursday our standard day of the month will work out well.
We will also plan on a hybrid (in person and Zoom together) meeting each month going forward as that will give us the flexibility of both local and remote participants participating. All are welcome. Please also be aware that Collin puts the recording of each meeting on the YouTube Channel he created for heaa.org, so take a look if you can’t make a meeting in real time. Much appreciation to Collin !
See you Thursday. And thanx for being an EV leader – the future is electric !!! (It helps to demystify EVs for your friends and neighbors.)
